Manav Gangwani : Fashion is combo of beauty and diligent craftsmanship

Designers have embraced white as the new artful color palette for the upcoming season, moving away from the traditional sparkling red lehengas and black floor-sweeping gowns.

White can be seen in various forms, from enlarged bridal lehengas to Swarovski-studded cocktail gowns, elegant netted sarees, and long overcoats.

Designer Rohit blended ivory white extensively in his collection titled "Shanti," expressing the idea of peace through the color white. Celebrities like Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon, Soha Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Urmila Matondkar were seen supporting their designer friends in shades of white. Designer Sonakshi Sinha, who wore an ivory cocktail gown by Shantanu and Nikhil, expressed her love for white, appreciating its grace and versatility.

According to designer Nikhil Mehra, white brings a breath of freshness and can be an essential part of the modern bridal wardrobe, acting as a base for many colors.

Manav Gangwani showcased delicate workmanship in his skin-fit pearl white gowns, creatively using Swarovski elements. Designers like Ashima and Leena incorporated white bases in their decor, using images of palaces and monuments to revive the age-old traditions of Awadh and Lucknow Gharana on the ramp.

Designer Anju Modi, inspired by her deep meditations, named her collection "Maya," using flowy white garments to create an illustration effect.
